    Abstract

The concept drift or the change in the data distribution, hinders the sustainability of the accuracy of machine learning models greatly in dynamic conditions. In this work, an ensemble-based method of successful detection and adaptation of drifts of ideas is proposed. The proposed approach employs a range of classifiers to monitor decreases in the performance and relies on the trend in disagreement or accuracy to detect drift. The ensemble is adaptive as it re-trains or replaces affected models in a case of drift to ensure continued reliability. Both the artificial and real-world data on both test sets indicate that, unlike the traditional single model solutions, our approach delivers a high level of robust classifications and increased sensitivity of the detection. This methodology is well suited to applications in streaming data, where the drift needs to be detected very quickly and accurately to be used in a decision-making system.

    Abstract

Abstract: Due to their mobile nature with changing topologies and limited battery energy budgets, mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) face serious energy issues. To enhance energy-efficient routing in MANETs this study proposes a coalition-formation game model. The nodes create coalitions according to utility functions that consider link stability, cost of transmission and energy left. Nodes can collaborate to extend network lifespan, optimise route decisions, and evenly balance power consumption, etc. The suggested model involves the application of gametheoretic notions to ensure stable coalition structure formation and promote node cooperation. Simulation studies also show the coalition-based strategy outruns the conventional routing protocols by reducing energy consumption, packet delivery ratio, and extending network lifetime. The method gives a dynamic and versatile approach to connection maintenance in MANET conditions.

    Abstract

Voltage security is an attractive asset to power distribution system processes and ensures reliability and stability of voltage distribution amid various loading conditions. In this work, Gauss-Seidel iterative methodology is employed to perform analysis on voltage security of distribution networks. The technique allows the in depth assessment of the voltage bus profiles by solving power flows. Identification of the weak nodes and potential violations of the voltage achieves with the assessment of the voltage stability margin of the system, simulating the different loading conditions. Gauss-Seidel method is efficient and simple to go about distribution network analysis due to the simplicity of this method in radial systems. The results outlined the usefulness of the method in the planning and operational decision making in achieving enhanced voltage security in distribution systems by indicating how the voltage drops and voltage stability issues vary with the variations in the loads.
